Kariti Seed of Hope

Kariti Seed of Hope was the third of our centres to open. Kariti is located near the town of Murang'a in Central Province, near to the Vision Africa projects at Kandara and Kirunguru. Kariti Seed of Hope was constructed in 2005 and both the construction and the running is fully funded by the Sumerian foundation. Kariti opened its doors to students in October 2005.

While this centre is funded by Sumerian Foundation, the centre is fully integrated into the Vision Africa Seed of Hope programme. The girls go through the same sylabus and program as our other centres.

Seed of Hope Kariti continues to prove itself as an outstanding centre with excellent staff and students.  Their work is of the highest quality.  There is currently an enrolment of about 90 students.  Seed of Hope is also supported by an excellent management committee who really do have the interest of our girls at their heart.
